CERF

The Coastal and Estuarine Research Federation (CERF) provides travel awards to support students and early career members attending and presenting at JASM 2022. Students and early career professionals in need of financial assistance to attend the 2022 conference in Grand Rapids, Michigan, may request support from the CERF’s William E. Odum/Scott Nixon Memorial Award. Awards typically range from $300 to $400 per person.

FMCS

The Freshwater Mollusk Conservation Society will offer monetary support for the early registration costs ($295) of two student members of FMCS to attend the Joint Aquatic Sciences Meeting in Grand Rapids, Michigan this spring.

IAGLR

The IAGLR Student Travel Award helps to defray the travel cost for IAGLR student members attending IAGLR | JASM 2022.  The deadline to apply is Friday, April 29.  The amount awarded to individual students will vary, and are contingent on distance traveled and funds available.  In addition, IAGLR students outside the United States and Canada are eligible to apply for an IAGLR International Travel Award. The deadline is Friday, March 18.

SWS

The SWS International Travel Awards provide financial assistance to talented and well-motivated wetland scientists from developing countries who are disadvantaged through regional economic conditions so they are able to attend the Annual Meeting. The International Travel Award Committee will recommend several awards generally of $500-$2500 based on the quality of applications, according to a range of criteria. Find more details and apply here.
